Klopio blocks email trackers without becoming one. Your emails never leave your device. We collect only what is strictly necessary to run the service and never sell or share your data.
Klopio is a Gmail email tracker detection and blocking service operated in Ontario, Canada. We can be reached at support@klopioapp.com for any privacy-related questions.
This policy applies to the Klopio Chrome extension and the Klopio website at klopioapp.com, including your account and any communications with us.
When you create an account we collect your email address, name (if provided), and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google and nothing else.
We store your subscription status and a reference identifier from our payment processor. We never store payment card details. All payment processing is handled by LemonSqueezy. When you provide payment details, they are transmitted directly to LemonSqueezy and are not stored on our servers.
Klopio stores an authentication token and your tracker statistics on your device to keep you signed in and display your data. This token is used to verify your account and does not contain personal information. Nothing is transmitted without your knowledge.
Tracker counts and company names detected by the extension are stored locally on your device. When you are signed in, these aggregate statistics may be synced to our servers solely to display them in your account dashboard. Tracker statistics synced to our servers reflect your most recent data only and are overwritten with each sync. No email content is ever transmitted.
Our servers collect basic request metadata including IP addresses for security and abuse prevention purposes. These logs are retained for a limited period and then deleted.
Klopio never reads, stores, or transmits your email content, subject lines, sender addresses, attachments, or any information from emails in your inbox. All email processing happens locally on your device.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to providing Klopio.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third parties, except where required by law.
Your account data is stored on secure servers. All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. While we take security seriously, no system is completely immune to risk and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can delete your account directly from your account dashboard at any time. This will permanently remove all your data from our servers.
Klopio operates under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). We collect personal information only for purposes a reasonable person would consider appropriate. You may access or correct your information by contacting us at support@klopioapp.com. If you have unresolved concerns, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have rights under the GDPR including access, correction, deletion, portability, and the right to object to processing. Our legal bases for processing are contractual necessity (to provide the service) and legitimate interests (security). To exercise your rights, contact us at support@klopioapp.com.
Klopio is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have done so inadvertently, please contact us immediately and we will delete the information.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. For material changes, registered users will be notified by email.
